Entry Dates and Times Canned Goods 

Canned good entries will be received Saturday, September 10th from 10:00am - 4:00pm and Tuesday, September 13th from 3:00pm - 7:00pm in the Heritage Tent located at 21311 Courthouse Hwy, Windsor. 

Entries for all food competitions should be brought to the Heritage Tent on Wednesday, September 14th between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm. Judging will start promptly at 2:00pm on Wednesday. 

Canned good entries must be removed Sunday, September 18th after 5:00pm and no later than 7:00pm. Please bring all baked goods and candy on disposable trays and cover well (preferably a large ziploc bag.) The Fair will not be responsible for broken dishes.

New this year is the Virginia Egg Council's Everyody Loves Chocolate Contest! Any Virginia resident can particpate. This contest is for any recipe that has chocolate and a minimum of six eggs in the recipe. Local winners will compete at the VA. State Fair. Top prize at the State Finals is $375 and eggs for one year!  Click here for more information, view rules and download a registration form.
