Rabbit Entry Rules & Information

The following is a list of rules for rabbit exhibitors.

1. Entry fee is $3.00 per rabbit and all entry fees must accompany the entry form. Make all checks payable to Isle of Wight County. Please send payment with entry form. Deadline for entry forms is Friday, August 28, 2026.

2. If you enter 10 rabbit exhibits you will receive 1 fair entrance pass per exhibitor for FREE.

3. Any breed of rabbit is eligible for entry, but must be at least 4 months of age.

4. Ribbons will be awarded on the DANISH SYSTEM (blue, red, & white). In addition Grand and Reserve Champion will receive a rosette, Grand and Reserve Judging will take place from all blue ribbon winners in each age division.

5. Rabbits may be checked in Thursday, September 17 starting at 10 a.m. All rabbits must be in place by Thursday, September 17 by 4 p.m. All vehicles must be off the fairgrounds by 4 p.m. Rabbits will not be allowed to enter after 4 p.m. and no refunds will be issued.

6. Any rabbits that appear to be sick/unhealthy will be removed from the show area.

7. Judging will take place PROMPTLY at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026.

8. The Isle of Wight County Fair will take every precaution to guard against the loss, theft, and/or accident but WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE should these occur.

9. All rabbits must be picked up Sunday, September 20 between 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

10. Failure to adhere to these rules may jeopardize your ability to participate in future fairs.
